Considering hitting the driftless this weekend, but i image its going to be horribly crowded everywhere. The liscence free fishing is appealing though...Anyone headed out that way this weekend or have any recomendations on where to go??

I dont think the driftless will be that crowded - even with free fishing days. I have only been up there once. We fished the Blue River public fishing area.
Had a pretty decent outing with browns and brookies. Upstream from the parking area produced most of the browns and downstream produced the brookies.
Brown prince nymphs were the best producer for sure.

No we didnt ... we postponed the trip to next weekend. We are actually going out with a guide ( a reschedule from last month) Definitely will have a pics and a nice story or two to go along with it. My schedule has been so crazy because im transitioning into a new job, i have not found the time i wanted to fish at all. But soon i will be only working one job and basically fishing daily! Cant wait!
