I like this idea for growing your feathers. It seems from my quick google search you can purchase Grey Junglefowl for a male for $150. The live bird costs a little bit more than the actual cape does.

Mike buy a male and female and within a year we will have 10ish. Thanks Tom. Did you get the canvas back in Illinois? My buddy gott one but shattered the beak  I already picked up some borax.  |

I am going out sunday and should have 8-10 full pheasant pelts. That is provided I get all the released birds. I may keep a couple to mount but the other ones will be fair game. I may not skin them all really perfectly but as I clean them I could bag up the feathers for you guys.
